Silhouette
can trace their history back to 1877 as a corset manufacturer. The
company has evolved and changed ownership over the many years, but
one thing has remained the same. They have always made high quality
corsets, girdles, corselettes and bras. Silhouette has a very loyal
customer base, primarily in Europe. They are less well known here
in the states. Perhaps their best known product here in America and
worldwide was their "Little X" girdle range, introduced
in the late '60's. These girdles were successfully sold in 61 countries
and became known for their quality, style, and of course fit. They
are still popular today, along with the Madame X range of girdles
and corselettes.
