Cortland Foundations, LLC got its start in the roaring twenties -1928 to be exact, then known as the Cortland Corset Company.
Cortland Corset took its name from the town it was founded in, Cortland, New York. Today, Cortland NY is known as the heart of
apple country and still the home of this long-standing bra, girdle and corset business. It was owned by the same family up until 1995
when it was sold to its current owners. Their current owners have shown a strong commitment to Cortland's long-standing customer base
and have welcomed former customers of the Exquisite Form Magic Lady shapewear and Subtract girdle lines, having taken over the Subtract
styles in the late 1990's and more recently the lightweight Magic Lady lines. Now a part of the Venus of Cortland line, these are garments
that have stood the test of time and are known for their comfort and shaping qualities.
If you're looking for a particular Venus of Cortland product and you do not see it here, email us. If it's a current style we
can order it for you at a great price. Venus of Cortland has a large selection of control briefs, shapers, panty girdles, waist cinchers,
longline bras and body briefers. The 4202 Control Brief and 5060 Long Leg Control Panty is identical to the long discontinued
Exquisite Form Magic Lady Brief. The 5039 High Waist Long Leg Girdle, the 5041 Panty Girdle and the 4045 Control Brief
are all very similar to discontinued Subtract girdles. The Venus 7117 Minimizer Bra is identical to the discontinued Lilyette 410 Minimizer Bra.
