its start in the roaring twenties -1928 to be exact,
then known as the Cortland Corset Company. Cortland
Corset took its name from the town it was founded in,
Cortland, New York. Today, Cortland NY is known as the
heart of apple country and still the home of this long-standing
bra, girdle and corset business. It was owned by the
same family up until 1995 when it was sold to its current
owners. Their current owners have shown a strong commitment
to Cortland's long-standing customer base. If you're
